More than five years since the last full-sized G2E Asia graced the halls of The Venetian Macao’s Sands Expo, G2E Asia makes its long-awaited return today.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary, more than 8,000 professional visitors are expected to attend this year’s G2E Asia, which kicks off from 10am this morning across 20,000 square meters of exhibition space and with more than 100 exhibitors taking part.
The opening day of this year’s event will include a Keynote Address from Bill Miller, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association, as part of the G2E Asia conference, while Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) will from 2pm deliver a Keynote at the Asian IR Summit, being held in conjunction with G2E Asia.
Day 1 of the G2E Asia conference is titled “Asian Gaming Market Forum” and will focus on themes such as the Outlook for Asian Gaming Markets, Emerging Markets and Spotlight on Thailand and Middle East.
G2E Asia was not held in 2020 or 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before returning as a much smaller event at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in August 2022. Singapore was again the venue in 2023, while a very small secondary show was held in Macau last July.
However, today represents the first full-sized G2E Asia to be held in its traditional home of Macau since May 2019.
