Global gaming supplier IGT has announced Nick Khin as its new President, Global Gaming, responsible for managing the entire IGT Global Gaming business unit including studios, technology, sales, games and hardware, manufacturing and services, and systems.
Khin has served as IGT Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Gaming, since 2015.
Based in Las Vegas, he will report directly to IGT CEO Vince Sadusky, the company explained.
“Nick is the obvious choice to lead IGT Global Gaming. Under his leadership, IGT is consistently releasing top games and strengthening its performance in every game category,” said Sadusky. “Nick’s knowledge, leadership and passion have earned him the respect of colleagues throughout our industry.”
Khin’s appointment comes less than two weeks since IGT revealed its gaming and digital arms would be acquired by asset management firm Apollo Global Management in a US$6.3 billion deal that also involves loyalty solutions provider Everi.
IGT last week reported 2Q24 revenues of US$1.05 billion.
